Cummins will have software upgrades for Cummins currency processing equipment well in advance of the actual release date.
Cummins engineers are currently developing software upgrades that will allow Cummins currency processing equipment to read and process the new $100 note. Final development and testing for the software upgrades will take place during the summer months, followed by plans to release the $100 update
on October 1st. Cummins will be in contact with customers later this fall regarding the installation of the upgrades for customer’s equipment.
Similar to past currency upgrades for Cummins currency processing equipment, Cummins will offer DIY (Do It Yourself) software update kits for the new $100 note. The software update kits can be sent directly to customer locations and are a quick and easy method to install an update that will make your Cummins machine ready to read and process the new $100 note well in advance of the scheduled release on February
